Attended a Salom Timed Competition for Kayaking at Tees Water Barrier Water Sports Site
This was a built for purpose site and could regulate the water flow to replicate different grades of water flow
The individual kayaks were released from the top of the course and completed 3 timed runs
The images area from the last timed run when the competition was intense and the competitors were going all out to beat their previous times
The action was very fast paced and the course taken by the competitors was totally unpredictable
Wanted to capture the movement, the skill of the kayakers and the shear power of the water and feel that the final chosen images portrays this
